Leche asada (Roasted milk)
Aug 1st, 2008 by Diego

Despite of its name, the leche asada is a tasty dessert with a lot of versions in all South America. It’s very popular due its simplicity, its nutritional value, and -of course- its flavor. Milk, sugar, vanilla and eggs are all you need. Come on, try it - you’ll love it.
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups of evaporated milk
- 1 cup of sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Preparation:
In a big bowl, beat well the eggs with the sugar. When it’s ready, add the milk and the vanilla. Continue beating.
When all is well mixed, pour in a mold (or in individual pyrex dishes) and bake to 200º C (392º F) until it gets curdled and the surface gets browned. That’s all!
