Papas con crema (Potatoes with cream)

This recipe gives you an easy way to surprise your family and friends. It’s easy but elegant; the recipe is old but tasty and you’ll get fun preparing it. You’ll have to stuff the potatoes, just like the potatoes stuffed with cheese and chili/pepper recipe but this time they’ll get enveloped with beaten egg. Sounds good? try this recipe for 4 people.
Ingredients:
- 4 big white potatoes
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 3 tablespoons of flour
- 1 1/2 cups of milk
- 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
- 24 shrimp tales, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs, toasted and grated
- 2 beaten eggs
- Vegetable oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation:
Boil the potatoes and remove from the flame before they get too cooked (35 minutes on a low flame, more or less). Peel them and make a hole in each one with a teaspoon, like a glass, carefully: you don’t want they break.
Let’s prepare a white sauce: cook the butter with flour and milk. Season with salt, pepper and parsley. Let it cool down and add the shrimp tails (slightly passed by boiling water). Stuff the potatoes with this sauce; envelop them with the beaten egss, cover with the grated breadcrumbs and fry until they get browned.
